UP COMING REUNION INFORMATION
When ever I hear any new information about an up coming reunion I will pass it to you
as quickly and as accrete as posible.
FRENCH HIGH SCHOOL Class of 1963 MEMORIAL PAGE
I was told when I first began thinking about doing a class web site that the most difficult part
would be the Memorial Page. I have found that to be true. I think it's important to pause for a
few moments and reflect on friends who have passed away. Sadly, it's a list that continues to grow.
I hope we can keep this list as current as possible and that we can add to it. We are
missing so many of our classmates. Hopefully this list will help us the next time we have
a reunion. I know it has helped a number of our classmates stay in contact with each other.

During our years at French we weren't simply one class; but rather 5 different classes.
'60, '61 '62, '63, '64 and '65. The pages in this section are dedicated to the FHS Class of

HURRICANE "IKE" PICTURES
Hurricane Ike made landfall on September 14, 2008 and changed much of the landscape along the Gulf Coast. Lives and property were lost as the storm surge raved its havoc. Beaumont didn't feel the storm surge but the high winds were also very destructive. Our old high school had to be totally redone inside from the damage.

This is just a bit of Trivia about 1962. I've tried to make it localized to things that actually affected us.

ANNUAL PICTURES
I have heard from a number of classmates who either never had or don't
currently have access to their annuals. It was suggested that adding
some of those pictures would be something classmates would like
to see again.
Hopefully FHS Courier Pages will bring back some neat memories. Due to it's size
this page might be slow to open for some of you. I hope you will still take the time to

MR. LeMASTERS
Mr. LeMasters and his wife paid a visit to one of the FHS Mass Reunion's hosted by the
FHS Alumni Association. He was well received and most agreed it was a touching event.

This is a section I have moved from the main page to a different location. I use this section
for a number of different things, one of which is to express my opinion on things. But, there

used as the The Jefferson County Courthouse in Beaumont, Texas.

If you are interested in knowing about Beaumont, the best book
on the subject was written by a couple of French High School
Graduates. " BEAUMONT A CHRONICALE of PROMISE " was written by
Judith Walker Linsley & Ellen Walker Rienstra.
