remains is a marker indicating where home plate was once located. Stadium
Shopping Center replaced the once grand ballpark. But all is not forgotten. On
the exterior of the Lamar State Bank, facing Avenue A is a large mural describing
Stuart Stadium and the history of baseball in Beaumont.
