  • Hurricane Ike Pictures

    Hurricane Ike made landfall on September 14, 2008 and changed much of the
    landscape along the Gulf Coast. Lives and property were lost as the storm surge
    raved its havoc. Beaumont didn't feel the storm surge but the high winds were
    also very destructive. Our old high school had to be totally redone inside from
    the damage.

    Mr. LeMasters and his wife paid a visit to one of the FHS Mass Reunion's hosted
    by the FHS Alumni Association. He was well received and most agreed it was a
    touching event.
