Hello everyone!
It is still hot in Hot Springs Village, AR. I'm getting ready for the Woman's Church
Talent Show, the 20th of Sept. I am in a woman's trio, singing the lead, and we are
dressing like nuns, and singing a medley from the movie, Sister Act. After the talent
show, there will be a baked potatio bar. Trying to memorize the two songs is a pain.
However, the other two are also having problems memorizing. I told my friend's I'm
not beyond useing music, if we have to. After all, we are not in AMERICA'S GOT
TALENT :-)
Drove the 30 min. drive into Hot Springs to get my allergy shot today.
With me was my friend, Pauline. We had lunch, then got my glasses adjusted, and
looked for a cross, to make into a necklace, to go with my talent show nun costume.
We did find a pretty, putter looking cross. As soon as I got home, I made the cross
into a necklace. It looks great with the nun costume....yeah!
Gary shot a 72 playing 18 holes of golf today. Yeah..Gary... Our next adventure, after
the talent show, will be in Oct. I went to Paul Pewett High School from 1960 to 1961.
Paul Pewett is located between Omaha, and Naples, TX. Some of my best buds cames
from that school. Many of these schoolmates I have not seen since 1961. So, I'm getting
excited about Gary and I making the trip to Jefferson, TX, the end of Oct. for their
class of 1963 reunion.
Sorry gang, I am not the best speller....but I can tell a story. :-)
