one out. But be careful, it's easy to forget time.

Do you remember

Where Gandy' Drive-In was located ? .... 50 North 11th Street. Just down the street
from Gulf States.

Tucker's Drive-In was at 5640 N. 11th. Across the street from those ole rice fields ....
later know as Parkdale Shopping Mall.

That Vic and Al's was a wonderful Italian Restaurant but did you know you could get
hamburgers, french fries onion rings and malts to go ? They were great if you were
heading to the Circle Drive-In Theater to “ Watch ” a cool movie with a hot date.

Speaking of the Circle Drive-In Theater do you remember Beaumont's other Drive-In
Theater during “our” school days was the South Park Drive-In Theater.

There were a number of telephone exchanges in the area: Twinbrook [ TW ], Terminal [ TE ]
and Skyline [ SK ] were Beaumonts. Nederland was Randolph [ RA ], Vidor was
Rockwell [RO ]. I don't remember any of the rest but I'm certain
there were more.

The Pig Stands in Beaumont were located where ?

3035 Highland Ave.,

1595 Calder Ave.,

201 North 11th Street

3695 College Ave.
