Once upon a time in the City of Beaumont, Texas there was a Place Of
Higher Learning called French High School. They don't call it " French " any more
and today middle school students roam the halls. But whenever I drive in front of
the school I still see French High and expect to see students wearing the familiar
Orange and White. I've been told I'm not the only one who still has those visions.

You can see some of the work done to Concord Road.

They cut deep into Concord Road, somewhere between 24" to 36".
They also made it a 4 lane street and took out the " S " Curve nears
" Tew's Hamburger Stand ".

Least we forget

The roots of our Concord Road High School sprang from the Old French High School on Pope Street.
